Roads and Buildings Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy has asked newly-elected ZPTC and MPTC members to focus on village development and citizen welfare. He met and honored the unopposed members belonging to the NDA alliance at his camp office in Banaganapalle on Wednesday.
Priorities
The Minister told the new leaders to stay open to the public, understand their problems, and solve them quickly. He said they must work hard to build basic facilities like roads, drinking water, drainage, clean surroundings, and street lights in rural areas. He also asked them to work closely with government officers to speed up development work and make sure welfare programs reach farmers, women, youth, students, and poor families.
Government Goals
Mr. Janardhan Reddy stated that the unanimous win shows the public trusts the government. He mentioned that the alliance government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh is giving top priority to growth and welfare in all sectors, including education, health, and industries.
Context
ZPTC and MPTC members hold important positions in the rural local body system in India, connecting village-level administration with higher levels of government. Such leaders play a key role in deciding how public funds are spent on local infrastructure and community needs.
