Fourteen‑year‑old Chennai rider Jaden Immanuel has become the first Indian to win a European motorcycle racing championship, clinching the 2026 ADAC Junior Cup in his debut season. He secured six wins and eight podiums from ten races. Immanuel began competing in Germany at the age of ten and finished third overall in both the FIM MotoMini Germany and ADAC Mini Bike Cup championships last year. This season he stepped up to the ADAC Junior Cup, riding a Honda NSF250R for team F. Koch Rennsport, and tackled iconic tracks such as Hockenheimring, Assen, Sachsenring, Brno and Oschersleben. Heading into the Hockenheim finale he led the standings by 44 points. After a fourth‑place finish in Race 1 he won Race 2, sealing the title with a 42‑point margin over Ole Sauberlich. He also recorded a double victory at Brno. Immanuel will make his Moto4 European Cup debut as a wildcard at Misano World Circuit from 16 to 18 October, calling the chance a huge opportunity to race at a higher level and prepare for 2027.

Context

The ADAC Junior Cup is a key development series for young riders aspiring to higher classes such as Moto4, and Indian participation in European motorcycle racing has been rare, making Immanuel’s achievement a notable milestone for the sport in India.
