HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G Smartphone Launches in India With 6,000mAh Battery and Android 16

HMD has launched its new Vibe2 Pro 5G smartphone in India with prices starting at Rs. 14,999. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor and operates on Android 16.

Specifications

The phone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of typical brightness. Buyers can choose between 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage for Rs. 14,999 and an 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage priced at Rs. 16,999. Storage can expand up to 512GB using a microSD card. The rear camera setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor and a 2MP micro camera, accompanied by a 13MP front camera for selfies.

Power comes from a 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, with a compatible charger included in the box. Additional hardware includes dual speakers, dual microphones, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone port. The software suite includes Indus by Sarvam AI supporting over 22 Indian languages and a preloaded Sanchar Saathi app that users can choose to install.
