Six-Year-Old Boy Wins Fifty Lakh Rupee SUV Through Small Lucky Draw

A six-year-old boy in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, won a Toyota Fortuner SUV worth about fifty lakh rupees after his grandmother bought a lucky draw coupon for two hundred rupees.

The Lucky Draw

The boy, Medansh Raikar, lives in the Seelampura area of Burhanpur. His grandmother Kiran Raikar bought the coupon last year while attending a Garba event and wrote her grandson's name on it. When the results were announced in 2026, the first prize went to Medansh.

Celebration And Response

Neighbours gathered with drums to welcome Medansh and congratulate the family. The family also performed prayers to thank God for the prize. They had wanted to buy a car for about two years, and the win fulfilled that dream without any direct purchase.

Context

Lucky draws and raffle tickets often offer high-value prizes like vehicles for a very small initial cost, though winning depends entirely on chance. Such unusual wins frequently attract public attention and social media discussion because of the stark difference between the small ticket price and the large reward.
