Karnataka Board Finalises 2027 Pre-University Exam Schedule While CBSE Dates Await Release

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board has published the official schedule for the upcoming Second Pre-University Course board tests for the year 2027. Students will take their tests in two distinct rounds across the state in the traditional offline pen-and-paper format. The first round of testing runs from February 27 through March 18, while the second round is set for May 3 to May 15 for eligible intermediate students.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education has not yet published its datesheet for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board tests, according to Hindustan Times - Education. Around 44 lakh students from roughly 8,000 schools in India and other countries are expected to register for these national board tests. Those exams will begin in February 2027 in a single shift, and the official datesheet will contain subject timetables, practical details, and instructions once released.
