Actress Hina Khan and long-time partner Rocky Jaiswal got married in June last year during a spontaneous 15-minute ceremony on the terrace of their Mumbai home. The intimate wedding involved around 20 close family members and friends. Hina revealed that the choice to tie the knot after dating for more than a decade was driven by health uncertainty. Dealing with stage 3 breast cancer, she told Rocky to either marry someone else or marry her because she did not know what tomorrow would bring. Rocky agreed without hesitation.

The couple was so casual about the occasion that they completely forgot their first wedding anniversary. They only realized the date at night when friends and family began sending good wishes. Hina noted that marriage has not changed their relationship and that they are not people who track dates.
