Family sources stated that both families held a gathering in Srinagar earlier this month before the formal ceremony in New Delhi, and the marriage was formally registered on October 30. The report notes that Mr. Abdullah and Ms. Razdan were often seen together in Jammu and Kashmir, including at official events. This is the second marriage for Mr. Abdullah, following a mutual consent settlement in the Supreme Court of India on July 31, 2026, after a long legal battle over his earlier divorce. His first marriage was to Payal Nath in 1994, and they separated in 2011.
