Cast & Production

Vvaan stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, who returns to Hindi screens after seven years; her last lead role was in Khamoshi with Prabhu Deva. The movie is directed by Deepak Mishra of Panchayat fame and also features Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Maniesh Paul. Jaideep Ahlawat joins the Ajay Devgn‑led franchise, while Akshaye Khanna left over creative differences.

Context

The film blends folklore, fantasy, mythology, action and thriller elements and highlights the Chhath festival, a growing celebration in North India. Its strong solo run puts it near the breakeven point just before the expected release of Drishyam 3.
