Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal star in Tu Hai Meri Kiran, with trailer launching first in cinemas

Trailer Release Plan

Real-life couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will star in an intense new film titled Tu Hai Meri Kiran, which releases in cinemas on October 23. The film's first look poster launched on October 1, featuring the tagline 'She found a connection; he found an obsession'. In an unusual move, the film's trailer will premiere directly in theatres before digital release. Makers requested cinemas to play the trailer ahead of new releases like Drishyam The Conclusion, Digger, and Verity, as well as holdover films like The Vvaan and Avengers Endgame: Encore. The Central Board of Film Certification approved the trailer on September 16 with a U/A 16+ rating, and it runs for 2 minutes and 17 seconds.

Production Details

The film is directed by Karan Rawal and produced by Vishal Rana, Sarvesh Goyal, Ashwani Kumar, Manoj Darak, and Nrupal Patel. It is an Echelon Productions project made in association with Pam Studios and And Productions.

Context

Movie trailers are traditionally launched online on digital platforms to reach a wide audience instantly, but some filmmakers choose a theatrical-first release to capture the attention of audiences already visiting cinemas for big movie releases.
