Norton Motorcycles has globally revealed a new 450cc urban motorcycle, marking the historic brand's entry into a smaller-capacity vehicle category under TVS ownership.
Design and Engine Specs
The new bike features a modern look with futuristic styling, an angular headlamp, a sculpted tank, and pale metallic bodywork paired with dark mechanical parts. It uses an aluminium frame built for agile handling along with upside-down front forks and disc brakes at both ends. Power comes from a liquid-cooled 454cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 45 Nm of torque. Norton has not yet announced peak power, gearbox details, kerb weight, or exact performance numbers, though output is expected to reach around 40 to 45 bhp. Riders will also get a large 8-inch TFT touchscreen with advanced connectivity features.
Launch Timeline
The global reveal took place on November 2, ahead of a public debut at the EICMA show on November 3. Sales for the new urban motorcycle are scheduled to begin in 2027, and the official model name will be shared closer to that launch date. Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, appeared alongside the motorcycle in its first official image.
Context
This new model follows recent vehicle reveals like the Manx and Atlas lines as the brand expands its global footprint under Indian parent company TVS Motor Company. Norton currently operates more than 50 retail locations across 10 markets, with active plans underway to launch in both India and the United States.
