Nani's latest film The Paradise has crossed the ₹110 crore milestone in India net collections despite seeing a consistent decline in daily earnings after a record-breaking opening.
Box Office Numbers
According to tracking data from Sacnilk, the film earned ₹2.21 crore on its second Friday, bringing its total India net collection to ₹110.41 crore. However, collections dropped sharply to ₹5 crore on Monday and continued falling through the week to ₹4.40 crore on Tuesday, ₹3.40 crore on Wednesday, and ₹3.30 crore on Thursday before reaching Day 9.
Cast and Celebration
Cast member Sonali Kulkarni celebrated the film crossing the ₹100 crore mark by cutting a chocolate cake on Thursday in videos shared by paparazzi. She expressed happiness over the milestone and mentioned her song Sammakka. The Telugu period action drama is directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment. The film features Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, and Raghav Juyal, and tells the story of an oppressed nomadic tribe fighting for basic citizenship and rights in 1980s Secunderabad.
Context
Period dramas set in regional backdrops often rely heavily on word-of-mouth and holiday periods to sustain long box-office runs after initial opening weekend spikes. Major regional language releases frequently see distinct performance splits between their primary home markets and dubbed versions in other languages.
