Speaking in an interview with VJ Siddhu vlogs, Jason recalled growing up watching his father's films on the first day and revealed that he also watched Ajith's film Aarambam on its first day at Woodlands theatre. He noted that the rivalry has faded as both actors have moved on to different paths, with Vijay focusing on politics and governance after his 2026 film Jana Nayagan, and Ajith pursuing professional motorsport alongside his acting career, which includes competing at the 24 Hours of Dubai in January and the Le Mans race at Silverstone in September.
