What Happened
Yamaha unveiled the RW350 adventure scooter at the EICMA 2026 show, fitting a 327cc single‑cylinder liquid‑cooled engine that delivers 29.2 PS and 31.5 Nm of torque.
Features
The model bridges everyday commuting and off‑road capability while offering touring comfort with a tall windscreen and front apron for wind protection. Yamaha says the bike is built “without compromise to deliver true performance where it counts” and promises agile handling, comfort and practicality for daily rides and longer escapes. The scooter features a non‑step‑through layout with a central spine instead of a floorboard, a single‑piece rider seat scooped for space, and a stepped pillion seat for longer trips. A wide handlebar, silver‑coloured cladding and rugged under‑body elements give it a bold look. Buyers can choose from Sage Blue with yellow accents, Arashi Sand with white accents or Midnight Black with blue highlights. Technical specs include a 13‑litre fuel tank, 192 kg kerb weight, 185 mm ground clearance, 810 mm seat height, front RSU forks with 140 mm travel and rear twin shocks with 105 mm travel. Riders can select Street, Explore or Eco modes, enjoy ride‑by‑wire throttle, cruise control, a 5‑inch TFT display with MyRide and Garmin navigation, ABS, 282 mm front and 245 mm rear discs, and 16‑inch front and 14‑inch rear wheels with 120‑section and 150‑section tyres respectively. An integrated LED tail light and grab rail complete the design. Yamaha has not announced an Indian launch, and it appears unlikely.
Context
The RW350 adds a higher‑displacement adventure option to Yamaha’s scooter range, targeting riders who want both city comfort and occasional off‑road trips.
