UPDATE - follow-up to Fully equip Warangal Super Speciality hospital before inauguration: Telangana Health Minister: Telangana Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha ordered the Roads and Buildings and Health departments to speed up unfinished work at the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital so it is fully equipped before its inauguration. In a meeting in Hyderabad, he also reviewed the construction status of the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals in Alwal and LB Nagar. He examined floor plans and told officials to focus on outpatient infrastructure, including registration counters, consultation rooms, a pharmacy and diagnostic units. The construction agencies assured him that all outpatient facilities and the preparation of six operation theatres will be ready by 15 November. He emphasized that the hospital must offer all necessary medical services under one roof to avoid patient referrals, and instructed a government‑appointed team of doctors to regularly visit Warangal and the TIMS sites to monitor readiness. Officials said the Alwal TIMS hospital is in its final stage with medical equipment being installed. The LB Nagar TIMS facility is slated to reach its final construction stage by March 2027. ## Context The push reflects Telangana’s goal to expand specialist healthcare in regional cities, and the deadline aligns with the planned inauguration ceremony.
