UPDATE - follow-up to Skoda Slavia facelift review: Small changes add up: Skoda Auto India has released prices for the updated Slavia sedan, ranging from Rs 9,99,900 to Rs 18.84 lakh ex-showroom. The lineup brings a fresh trim structure including Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo variants. Customer deliveries are set to begin next week, while the new Cappuccino Beige colour will reach buyers starting in December 2026.
Trims and Pricing
The entry-level Classic trim comes solely with the 1.0-litre TSI manual engine. Automatic choices start with the Classic+ at Rs 12.49 lakh. The sporty Monte Carlo is an automatic-only model priced from Rs 17.29 lakh, whereas the larger 1.5-litre TSI engine is restricted to the Prestige DSG at Rs 18.59 lakh and the top-end Monte Carlo DSG at Rs 18.84 lakh. Mechanically, the sedan continues on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform.
Features and Technology
The updated cabin introduces a segment-first rear-seat massage function on higher trims, alongside a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a crisp 360-degree camera. The infotainment setup now includes a Google Cloud-powered AI voice assistant using Gemini. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre TSI variants have gained rear disc brakes, and six airbags come standard across all versions.
Context
Mid-lifecycle updates help automakers keep established models competitive against newly launched rivals in the fast-growing Indian mid-size sedan segment. These refreshes typically combine aesthetic tweaks with upgraded cabin technology and revised mechanical options to attract buyers looking for fresh choices.
