Tamil actor Dhanush has cleared the air about rumors regarding his political entry and alleged backing by the Bharatiya Janata Party, stating that no political party supports him. Speaking at the pre-release and audio launch event of his upcoming pan-India movie 'OM - Chapter 1: Udhiram' in Chennai, the actor said that God, his fans, and the general public are the only ones standing behind him.

## Movie Details

The grand event held on Friday brought together the film's star-studded cast and crew. Dhanush described 'OM' as a multi-hero project featuring Malayalam megastar Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, and himself, alongside 22-year-old music director Sai Abhyankkar. He praised director Rajkumar Periyasamy for his immense faith in the story and the cast. During the event, Dhanush also shared a lighthearted anecdote about the track 'Alaka Luva', revealing that after he spent three and a half hours recording it, the director decided Sai Abhyankkar's version suited the track better, marking the first time a song he sang was removed after recording. He also spoke warmly of Mammootty, describing him as a great humorist with a sensitive heart.

## Fan Advice

Addressing his supporters, Dhanush urged them to prioritize their own families before engaging in social service. He noted that all charity work done in his name uses the fans' own hard-earned money rather than funds from his pocket, advising them never to put their families in financial trouble to help others. He also asked fans to stay ready to assist people if heavy rains hit during late November and December. Reflecting on his career, Dhanush noted that he always considers himself an underdog who draws fuel and drive from constant trolling and low expectations.
