Performance And Test Results
In instrumented performance tests, the bike reached 60 kph in 2.85 seconds, 80 kph in 4.36 seconds, and 100 kph in 6.34 seconds. Ninety percent of its torque is available from 3,000 rpm, which helps riders overtake quickly without frequent gear shifts. For roll-on acceleration, it took 1.98 seconds from 20 to 50 kph in second gear, 2.78 seconds from 30 to 70 kph in third gear, and 3.38 seconds from 50 to 80 kph in fourth gear with peak torque arriving at 5,500 rpm. Braking tests showed the 185-kilogram motorcycle comes to a complete halt from 60 kph in 15.73 metres using its 310mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes.
Variants And Specs
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is sold in three versions named Apex, Dash, and Flash. The Dash and Flash variants share identical mechanical parts and differ only in their paint options. The motorcycle features a 6-speed gearbox, an 11-litre fuel tank, and a 780mm seat height.
Context
Motorcycle performance testing helps buyers understand how engine specifications translate into real-world riding conditions like city traffic and highway cruising. Road tests measure acceleration, braking distance, and roll-on timing to give an objective view of vehicle capability.
