Spanish builder Tamarit Motorcycles has won the 2026 Triumph Originals global custom competition with its Miura bike. The Miura is a one‑off Scrambler 400 XC that currently sells for Rs 2.99 lakh ex‑showroom in Delhi. Tamarit secured 33 percent of the public vote and received the highest score from the international judging panel. The judges panel consisted of leading figures from motorcycle design, custom building, journalism and heritage. The competition required each team to create a 1/1 ‘Time Capsule’ Scrambler that captures a defining era from the model’s rich history. Teams from Canada, China, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States submitted entries. Thousands of enthusiasts worldwide cast votes that were combined with the judges’ scores to decide the winner. The brief asked builders to balance originality with technical execution. The Miura impressed both voters and judges with its faithful interpretation of the brief and its excellent build quality. Its design stays true to the original Scrambler while adding modern touches that highlight its heritage. ## Context These contests let manufacturers celebrate a model’s history while inviting builders to create modern reinterpretations that appeal to a global fan base.
