Kannada Sci-Fi Thriller Lambodhara 2.0 Announced for November Release

Mahaveer Jain Films is backing a new Kannada sci-fi social thriller titled Lambodhara 2.0. The movie hits theatres on November 20, 2026, and will release in both Kannada and Hindi. The first look poster comes out later this week on Wednesday, October 14.

Cast and Robot JIA

Simple Suni directs the project. The lead cast features Kunal Kapoor, Saachi Bindra, and newcomer Anil Shetty. A real humanoid robot named JIA also stars in the movie as one of its main highlights.

Plot and Themes

The story takes place in a world ruled by artificial intelligence and digital validation. It asks if technology can truly bring happiness to human beings. The film mixes suspense, comedy, and deep ideas about free will, human emotions, and artificial intelligence.

Producer Mahaveer Jain has several other films in the pipeline. He teams up with Rajshri Productions for Yeh Prem Mol Liya, directed by Sooraj Barjatya and starring Ayushmann Khurrana alongside Sharvari. He announced another film named RamBola under director Vishal Chaturvedi. His upcoming slate also includes Naagzilla starring Kartik Aaryan, set for release on February 12, 2027, plus a devotional drama led by Ravi Kishan.
