Context

Playback singers transitioning into acting roles is a long-standing tradition in the Indian film industry, where musical talent often opens doors to on-screen performances. Casting real-life musicians as musical characters helps add a layer of realism to the role. Side Heroes joins a small group of Hindi films choosing to shoot completely on location in the state of Bihar.
