Actor Sidharth Malhotra injures leg following success of recent film and baby news

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has sustained a leg injury, posting a picture of his limb in a medical walking boot and plaster on social media with the caption, "I took 'break a leg' too seriously." He added a hospital emoji to the update alongside the humorous remark. While he did not explain how the accident happened or mention a recovery timeline, he maintained a light-hearted attitude about the situation. The update arrives shortly after the actor celebrated the box office performance of his recent film, The Vvaan – Force of the Forest, directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, which crossed ₹89.40 crore worldwide within 18 days after hitting theatres on September 25, 2026.

Family Milestones

The injury post follows a major personal announcement from Sidharth and his wife, actor Kiara Advani, who revealed they are expecting their second child. The couple shared the news via a joint Instagram post featuring baby booties and the message, "Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all... Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude." This news comes after the arrival of their daughter, Saraayah, in July 2025. Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot on February 7, 2023, at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, after falling in love while shooting the 2021 film Shershaah.
