Representative image · PexelsTata Motors has launched a Dark Edition of its Sierra SUV, priced from Rs 13.99 lakh. The variant wears a Friesian Black paint finish on the body and dark‑chrome Tata emblems across the front. Alloy wheels receive the same darkened treatment, and unique badging on the front fenders marks the edition. Inside, the cabin stays largely black but features violet metallic trim pieces that Tata calls “Violet Eclipse”. The interior layout is unchanged from the standard Sierra. All other equipment mirrors the trim level on which the Dark Edition is built, and no power‑train options differ from the regular models. Buyers can opt for the Dark Edition starting at the Pure L trim, paying an extra premium of between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000. The package is purely cosmetic, aimed at customers who prefer a fully blacked‑out look with a splash of violet. The new version joins Tata’s other SUVs that also offer Dark Edition styling packages.
