Actor Vivek Oberoi has paid for the medical care of fifty children fighting cancer to mark his milestone fiftieth year. This action fulfills a promise the actor made last year on Cancer Rose Day. In October of that year, Vivek announced he would not take any pay from his work in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming movie Ramayana. The film features actors Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi. Vivek told producer Namit Malhotra that he wanted to give his earnings to help children with cancer. He also stated that he wanted to support the producer's vision to take Indian cinema to the global stage. Vivek has worked with cancer support charities for several years, making this donation part of his long-standing efforts to help patients.
