Bajaj has placed a Pulsar NS400Z with a new 5‑inch TFT instrument cluster on a showroom floor, signalling the model’s launch is near. The TFT screen follows a recent rollout that began on the top SS variant of the Pulsar N160 and then moved to the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. Updated versions of the Pulsar NS200 and N250 were also seen in testing with the same display, and a dual‑sport bike in development has shown the screen as well, suggesting many Bajaj bikes will soon carry the TFT dash. Apart from the digital cluster, the NS400Z appears to receive only a slight refresh of colour options and no other mechanical changes. It is expected to keep the 349.13 cc single‑cylinder liquid‑cooled engine that delivers 40.6 hp and 33.2 Nm of torque. The bike does not feature the WP front fork that was fitted on a recent NS200 test mule, a component commonly used by KTM and Husqvarna. While the NS200 and N250 were still in test phases, the NS400Z has already reached dealerships. Bajaj is likely to announce a price, possibly with a modest rise, and to start deliveries soon.
