In Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan, Kartik played India's first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. The biographical sports drama also starred Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma and Rajpal Yadav, and although it underperformed at the box office, Kartik earned critical praise for his acting. He dedicated the win to every Indian Paralympian and anyone who dares to dream. Looking ahead, Kartik will star as an icchadhari naag in the fantasy comedy Naagzilla, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and backed by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, now set to release on February 12, 2027.
