The film hit theatres on Thursday, following paid premieres on Wednesday evening. It opened to lukewarm reviews from both critics and audiences, and even saw a sharp drop in ticket sales on Friday. However, the film bounced back with steady growth over the weekend, making it Nani's biggest opening and his highest-earning movie to date. While the film's makers claim a global haul of 136 crore rupees, trade sources and the tracking website Sacnilk estimate the three-day worldwide collection at around 119.50 crore rupees, with a domestic net collection of 76.40 crore rupees. Despite the differing numbers, the film has already crossed the lifetime earnings of Nani's previous hits, including HIT: The Third Case and Dasara, along with other major releases like Daaku Maharaaj. Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, the movie features an ensemble cast that includes Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, and Raghav Juyal. Set in the 1980s in a fictional place called Paradise, the story follows a tribe named Savaari fighting the government for legal recognition. Nani plays a character named Jadal, who joins his mother Sammakka in the struggle after initially opposing her cause. Following the mixed initial reactions, Nani publicly acknowledged the critical feedback and online trolls on social media, stating that he learned from the flaws pointed out while thanking viewers for embracing the movie. He has since celebrated the box office run with his team and hosted a special screening for Rapido drivers.
