Actor Taapsee Pannu has finally spoken about why she chose to keep her wedding a private affair and decided against sharing photos from the big day. Taapsee tied the knot with her longtime partner, retired Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, during a small ceremony held in Udaipur back in March 2023. Very few people from the film industry attended the celebrations. During a recent conversation on a YouTube channel hosted by Nayandeep Rakshit, Taapsee explained that she has always maintained a clear boundary between her work and her personal life. She stated that she never felt the need to issue a public press note or share a bundle of wedding media because she views her personal life as entirely private. She also shared her thoughts on a video from the festivities that leaked online despite guests being asked not to share content. She called the leak embarrassing and explained that it happened because of family guests whom she did not know very well. Even though almost everyone was recording videos, she chose not to take away phones because she felt that action would be too childish. She stressed that the privacy of her partner was a major factor in her decision. She pointed out that her husband is a sports star who is not used to the intense media attention that Bollywood celebrities face, especially in this part of the world and within his specific sport, meaning he did not sign up for that level of public scrutiny. On the work front, Taapsee was recently seen in two projects named Assi and Gandhari. In the courtroom drama Assi, directed by Anubhav Sinha, she played a lawyer named Raavi Bhatkal. In the action-thriller Gandhari, directed by Devashish Makhija, she portrayed a mother who goes on a search to find her kidnapped daughter.
