Honda Cars India unveiled the facelifted Elevate SUV, adding a top‑end ZX+ trim and pricing the highest variant at Rs 18.40 lakh ex‑showroom.
What Happened
The company kept the 1.5 L NA petrol engine (121 PS, 145 Nm) and both 6‑speed manual and 7‑step CVT gearboxes, but introduced a new ZX+ Black CVT with a more extensive comfort package. The facelift draws its styling cues from the WR‑V TrailSport HRC Concept shown at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon, adding a new Nordic Forest Pearl paint, a black‑finished chrome link between the headlights and a revised grille with tri‑bar LED DRLs. Body‑coloured side cladding now appears in silver and the rear gets connected tail‑lights split only by the Honda badge.
New Features
The front gains parking sensors and a 360° camera, while side mirrors receive cameras for full‑surround view. Inside, a black‑and‑ivory theme replaces the faux‑wood dash, with soft‑touch trims, orange ambient lighting, an auto‑parking brake and wireless charger. Seats are now 8‑way power‑adjustable for the driver and 4‑way for the front passenger; both rows have ventilated seats with three fan settings. A 7‑inch TFT instrument cluster stays alongside an analogue speedometer, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay function as before. Rear disc brakes are standard on CVT models, and rear occupants get individual LED reading lights and a Type‑C USB port.
Context
The Elevate’s updates aim to close the feature gap with rivals in the crowded midsize SUV segment while retaining its affordable petrol powertrain.
