Honda Cars India has launched the facelifted Elevate midsize SUV, bringing refreshed exterior styling, cabin upgrades, and a new range-topping ZX+ trim with prices extending up to Rs 18.40 lakh ex-showroom for the ZX+ Black CVT variant. ## Exterior Updates The refreshed front end features a new gloss black grille, a segmented LED light strip linking the LED headlamps, and a Honda badge moved from the grille to the bonnet. Side profile changes include dark-finished 17-inch alloy wheels, silver door inserts in the cladding, and a new Nordic Forest Pearl paint option. At the rear, a new LED light bar connects the tail-lamps across the tailgate. ## Interior and Cabin Inside, the cabin adopts an ivory and black dual-tone theme, replacing the old faux wood dashboard trim with white leatherette padding and stitching. Comfort features now include ventilated front and rear seats, powered front seats with eight-way driver and four-way passenger adjustment, an air purifier, and a new auto-parking brake on CVT models. ## Performance and Features The SUV continues with its 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121hp and 145Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic. Safety equipment now incorporates a 360-degree parking camera, front parking sensors, rear disc brakes on CVT versions, and low-speed follow for the adaptive cruise control. ## Context Midsize SUVs face fierce competition in the Indian market from popular models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, making regular feature updates essential for manufacturers. Facelifts typically aim to refresh aging designs and bridge equipment gaps without altering the core platform or mechanical foundations of a vehicle.
