Several rounds were fired at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai on Sunday evening, leaving his driver and a bystander injured. ## What Happened The shooting took place around 7pm near Pushpa Park in Juhu, close to Jamnabai Narsee School, as Shroff was returning from playing football at a club. A video circulating on social media shows two attackers shooting at the vehicle before escaping on a motorcycle with a third man. Shroff suffered minor abrasions, while his driver, Firdos, sustained a gunshot wound to his left hand. An autorickshaw driver named Umesh Chavan, 35, was shot in the chest and taken to Cooper Hospital, where doctors said his condition was stable. Shroff and his driver were treated at Nanavati Hospital, from where the actor was discharged while the driver was admitted for potential surgery. ## Gang Claim and Police Action Soon after the attack, two people identified as Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu claimed responsibility on social media, alleging ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. They posted a statement and voice message warning that anyone in the film industry who does not follow their orders or work with Salman Khan is next in line. Mumbai Police formed 15 teams to search for the attackers, cordoned off the area, deployed ballistics experts, and detained one person in Santacruz for questioning. ## Context High-profile threats and attacks targeting figures in the Mumbai film industry have previously drawn serious security concerns from law enforcement agencies. Police investigations into such incidents typically involve tracking digital communications, reviewing local surveillance cameras, and analyzing forensic evidence from crime scenes.
