Jackie Shroff steps out in Mumbai after armed attack on son Tiger Shroff leaves driver injured

Actor Jackie Shroff stepped out publicly for the first time following a violent shooting attack directed at his son, Tiger Shroff. Jackie attended a Mumbai ceremony where a local road was named after the late music composer Bappi Lahiri. He posed for photos alongside Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while carrying his trademark potted plant. The event also brought him together with fellow actor Suniel Shetty.

Reactions and Details

Suniel Shetty and Jackie shared a long embrace at the gathering. Speaking about the incident, Suniel expressed relief that Tiger emerged unharmed while noting that the driver sustained injuries and is currently healing. Suniel described Tiger as a dedicated athlete focused on sports and exercise, calling the targeted violence deeply concerning for public safety. The attack took place on Sunday when three motorcycle-riding gunmen shot at Tiger's vehicle as he headed back from a sports match in Juhu. Tiger suffered minor scrapes and managed to drive away after seeing his injured driver. Fellow player Karan Veer Mehra, who traveled in a separate car right behind them, spotted blood spots following the gunfire. Tiger subsequently met with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, displaying visible bandages on his hand and chest during the meeting.

Arrests Made

Rajasthan Police successfully caught the three suspected attackers on Monday afternoon. Officers intercepted the suspects on a train heading toward Jaipur while it stopped at Kota Junction. Following the arrests, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated in Nagpur that the guilty parties will face strict action. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde added that authorities will adopt a tough stance against such criminals.
