Bollywood stars Manoj Bajpayee and Divya Dutta have voiced deep concern after a recent armed attack on actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai. The incident occurred on October 18 when three men on bikes fired around five shots at Tiger's vehicle as he headed home from a football game in Juhu. While Tiger sustained minor scrapes and has since left the hospital, his chauffeur and a random passerby suffered bullet injuries during the ambush.

Reactions and Arrests

Several film industry figures, including Ram Gopal Varma, Vidyut Jammwal, Suniel Shetty, and Rakesh Bedi, have demanded strict action following the scare. Speaking to reporters, Manoj Bajpayee noted that while he does not view the assault as a turf war, random gunfire from unknown sources remains deeply alarming. He voiced hope that law enforcement will swiftly punish the culprits to deter future attacks. Divya Dutta added that personal safety is a fundamental requirement for everyone and noted how deeply such violent episodes shake the public. Investigators have already apprehended seven individuals in connection with the crime, which includes the three suspected shooters along with four others accused of supplying weapons. A social media post tied to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed credit for the ambush and linked it to Tiger's friendship with actor Salman Khan. Following the event, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger at his home, while the actor's father, Jackie Shroff, confirmed to the media that his son is safe.
