Representative image · PexelsTata Motors is launching its new Aeris sedan tomorrow, which serves as a facelift version of the current Tigor. A new interior teaser reveals several cabin updates, including a 360-degree camera, a wireless charging pad, and a fresh steering wheel design. The teaser also shows a rotary drive selector and paddleshifters behind the wheel, pointing to an automatic gearbox on that model. Other cabin highlights include physical controls around the cabin, a beige color theme on the seats, door trims, and dashboard, along with a floating-style digital instrument cluster and a floating touchscreen that could measure 10.25 inches, similar to the Tiago. On the outside, the Aeris brings a sleeker front look compared to the Tigor, featuring slim LED headlights, a thin DRL strip on top, and LED fog lamps. Additional exterior changes cover redesigned tail-lights, traditional pull-type door handles, sheet metal updates, and a new purple body color. Under the hood, the sedan is expected to use the Tigor's engine choices, offering a 1.2-litre petrol option and a petrol-CNG option, with both likely paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Prices will likely go up slightly from the current Tigor ex-showroom range of Rs 5.55 lakh to Rs 8.84 lakh.
