A video showing the upcoming Tata Aeris has leaked on social media ahead of its September 25, 2026 launch. The footage displays a showroom-ready iCNG variant of the new sub-4-meter sedan being driven off a trailer.

Design And Features

The front features a black bar across the grille and sweptback headlamps similar to the Tiago, paired with a new bumper sporting C-shaped corners and a redesigned air intake. It uses the Tiago's outside rearview mirror design and the Tigor's notchback roofline. The CNG variant in the video has a two-tone wheel design, Aeris lettering on the front doors, and pull-type door handles. Rear elements include tail-lamps with the Tata logo in the middle, a sharkfin antenna, a roof spoiler with an integrated stop light, and a sculpted bootlid with an iCNG tag. Inside, the car offers a two-tone theme, free-standing dashboard displays, powered outside rearview mirrors, steering-mounted controls, manual AC, dual phone trays, front cupholders, front and rear armrests, and a manually-dimming inner rearview mirror. Safety features include individual headrests, three-pointed seatbelts for all occupants, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX anchors.

Engine Options

The sedan is expected to use the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine from the Tigor. The petrol version generates 86hp and 113Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual transmission. The iCNG model should mirror the Tigor iCNG outputs at 76hp and 97Nm. The Tigor is priced from Rs 5.70 lakh to Rs 9.10 lakh ex-showroom, while Aeris prices will be announced soon.
