UPDATE - follow-up to The Vvaan box office collection day 2: Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia film shows growth, crosses ₹19 crore: The film earned ₹11 crore on Saturday, raising its net Indian total to ₹19 crore. It collected ₹8 crore on Friday, its opening day, according to Sacnilk. The second‑day earnings came despite a theatrical clash with the re‑release of Avengers: Endgame, which also attracted audiences. Vvaan’s total now tops the combined net of Malhotra’s last three releases – Param Sundari, Yodha and Thank God – and analysts say the movie must hold steady in the coming days to be called a clean hit. The folk‑fantasy supernatural thriller is backed by Balaji Motion Pictures, TVF Motion Pictures and 11:11 Productions. It is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar. The lead roles are played by Sidharth Malhotra as Rishi and Tamannaah Bhatia as his wife Mamta. Supporting actors include Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni, Maniesh Paul, Avtar Gill, Milind Gunaji, Sulabha Arya, Durgesh Kumar, Sundip Ved and Akshaan Sehrawat. The story follows Rishi, who lives in Mumbai and cannot have a child with Mamta. Financial pressure forces him to return home to close a land deal that would turn a sacred forest into a road. Villagers oppose the project, and Rishi’s actions trigger a supernatural chain of events. The film’s performance will be watched closely over the next few days.
