Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla clash on reality show Rise and Fall Season 2

The second season of the reality show Rise and Fall, hosted by Virender Sehwag, premiered on Saturday and immediately sparked a fierce rivalry between contestants Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla. Tension began when Shehzad ignored Swara after she entered the penthouse, later making body-shaming remarks about her alongside co-contestants Manish Kashyap and Siwet Tomar, claiming she only ate after entering the show. Shehzad also brought up an old incident involving Salman Khan and a Ganpati Visarjan. On Sunday, host Virender Sehwag confronted Shehzad about ignoring Swara. Shehzad defended his stance, stating that opinions are paramount and he does not sit with negativity. Swara hit back at Shehzad, pointing out that his team had made numerous tweets, videos, and messages trying to send her to the basement rather than seeking votes for him. The confrontation quickly escalated into a personal war of words. Shehzad remarked on people speaking against the country, while Swara retorted that the game would not save his drowning political career. Shehzad fired back about her husband, prompting Swara to bring up her husband's party ticket and accuse Shehzad of knocking on several doors to get one and trying to whitewash his image on the show. Before entering the show, Swara stated in an interview that she considered Shehzad a troll who was using her name for mileage, adding that he was only on the show because of her.
