The Special Edition costs Rs 91,000 more than the standard model and comes in a single Pearl Vigor Blue paint scheme. It sets itself apart with unique body decals, special wheel finishes, a three-dimensional Suzuki emblem and a Special Edition potting emblem on the fuel tank, plus anodised muffler-end and heat guards along with a standard single-seat cowl accessory.
Updates and Features
Both the Special Edition and the standard model share several mechanical and electronic updates for this iteration. The standard variant is now offered in three fresh colour choices, which are Candy Daring Red with Black, Metallic Galaxy Gray with Gold, and Pearl Vigor Blue with White. Both versions now use a new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery that is lighter and more compact while providing more stable voltage delivery under electrical load. Suzuki has also revised the settings for the launch control system and power mode selector on both motorcycles. The smart cruise control system has been updated to stay active even during gear shifts, which lets riders change gears without holding the throttle open or losing their set speed.
Core Specifications
Beneath the cosmetic changes, both motorcycles retain the well-known 1,340cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine paired with a twin-spar aluminium frame and swingarm. They keep an accessible 800mm seat height and a heavy 266kg kerb weight. Stopping power comes from Brembo Stylema four-piston front brake calipers, while grip is handled by bespoke Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres. The electronic rider aids suite includes six riding modes featuring three preset and three user-customisable options, cornering ABS, traction control, hill-hold control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. Suzuki confirms that both updated motorcycles are already available at dealerships across the country.
Context
The Suzuki Hayabusa holds a massive fan following in India, often serving as the benchmark for high-performance superbikes among enthusiasts. Special editions of iconic motorcycles allow manufacturers to keep older platforms fresh and appealing to collectors without undertaking a total redesign of the machine. These updates show how brands refine electronics and battery tech to meet modern rider demands while keeping a legendary engine layout intact.
