Sanjay Dutt visited Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with his wife Maanayata Dutt on Tuesday during the ongoing Ganeshotsav celebrations. Security personnel escorted the actor through the heavy crowds at the venue. Sanjay wore a bright orange kurta for the visit, while Maanayata wore a bright pink suit. Photographers captured a moment where Sanjay took sindoor from the deity's feet and applied it to his wife's forehead while shielding her from the crowd. Speaking to the media after offering prayers, Sanjay said he felt fortunate to visit the pandal again and hoped to keep returning every year because he believes the deity called him there. During the visit, Sanjay also met actor Chunky Panday and his daughter Ananya Panday, leading to a friendly reunion at the pandal where the two actors hugged and greeted each other. Other Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Parineeti Chopra, and Govinda, have also visited the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal this season. Sanjay Dutt has several film projects lined up. His upcoming jungle adventure movie Ranger, directed by Jagan Shakti and produced by Luv Films, has been pushed from December 2026 to 2027. The film stars Ajay Devgn as a forest officer fighting animal poaching, with Sanjay playing the antagonist and Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead. Sanjay also has Khalnayak Returns in his upcoming lineup.
