Actor Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped unhurt when three unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire near Pushpa Park in Mumbai's Juhu on Sunday evening. The incident happened as the actor was leaving a football match, while fans had gathered around his vehicle. Two people, including his driver who was shot in the left hand and an autorickshaw driver, were injured in the attack. Nanavati Hospital sources stated that the actor suffered minor scrapes, received a medical check-up, and went home, while his driver might need surgery. After his driver was hit, Tiger took over the wheel and drove away.
Reactions And Fallout
Hours later, actor Disha Patani visited Tiger's home wearing a white top and blue denims while carrying a care package, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis along with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited him at his residence. Actor Karanveer Mehra, who was at the ground, said children were nearby celebrating a birthday party and everyone ran in panic as gunshots mixed with festive fireworks. Two alleged operatives of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, claimed responsibility online, warning that those who ignore their demands or work with Salman Khan are next. Meanwhile, the All India Cine Workers Association strongly condemned the shooting, pointing to past attacks on Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rohit Shetty, and Kapil Sharma, and demanded strict government action against gangsters.
